G-land is also heaven for the not so advanced surfers

Beyond what people is lead to believe, G-Land offers a lot more breaks than just the world famous main point, not as heavy, but just beautiful and regularly empty.

Speedies

The fastest and heaviest wave in G-Land. Speedies is a shallow, high-speed barrel that offers the most critical rides of all. It’s technical, dangerous, and incredibly rewarding.

Position:
Bottom section of the reef
Best For:
Expert surfers only

Launching Pads

A fast and steep take-off zone that funnels directly into Speedies. This section is powerful and can be unpredictable, often requiring a late, committed drop.

Position:
Between Money Trees and Speedies
Best For:
Advanced surfers preparing for Speedies

Money Trees

The heart of G-Land. A long, clean left-hander that barrels perfectly when the tide and swell align. This section can connect into Launching Pads and Speedies on a solid swell, creating rides up to 300+ meters.

Position:
Just after Kongs
Best For:
Advanced surfers looking for long, barreling lefts

Kongs

Big, rolling walls with plenty of space to carve. Kongs is usually the first part of the reef to pick up swell and is more forgiving than the lower sections. It occasionally offers barrels but is mostly great for long, powerful turns.

Position:
Uppermost part of the point
Best For:
Intermediate to advanced surfers

20/20's

A playful and accessible wave, 20/20s breaks over a sand and reef bottom with slower, softer waves. It’s a great spot for beginner and intermediate surfers, especially during small to medium swells. With fewer crowds and a more forgiving setup, it’s perfect for relaxed sessions.

Position:
Further down the beach from Tiger Tracks (usually accessed by boat or pickup car)
Best For:
Beginner – Intermediate

Chickens

A smaller, softer wave that breaks in deeper water. It’s ideal during small swell days or for beginner surfers. Fun and playful, it offers a more relaxed surf experience.

Position:
Inside reef section near the beach
Best For:
Beginners or mellow surf sessions

Tiger Tracks

Tiger Tracks is a super fun, playful left-hander with a sand and reef bottom. It’s much more beginner-friendly compared to the main reef, with smaller, slower waves and a softer take-off. A great option when the main reef is too heavy or for less experienced surfers.

Position:
South of the main G-Land reef (a short drive or boat ride away)
Best For:
Beginners, intermediates, and relaxed sessions
